The NEW model 1028 continuous radon monitor is a patented electronic detection device used for the measurement of radon gas. The new model 1028 is intelligently designed to be fully programmable by the user. The large 16 character LED display will guide you through an easy set up process to input the Inspection Company Information, Address, State License numbers and phone numbers. This information will be stored in the memory and print on each report.

A real time clock will allow time and dates to be included in each interval. A 12 hour delay start can be pre-programmed to meet all proficiency program closed building procedures. The monitor will turn itself off when the test is complete. With all new electronics, a single 9 volt battery will test for 300+ hours with out draining. The display will alert you prior to starting the test of the battery status. The power cord will also be adaptable from 110v to 220v power outlets. The software program allows “read only” time and date parameter’s to prevent tampering once the test is complete. Weather and test site conditions can also be added along with customer address and contact information. Add photo images of the monitor location in the home. A USB cable will be provided to plug into a Windows operating system only. A serial port connection is available for both computer downloading and thermal print-outs.

PC software, suitable for printing reports, is included with the instrument. A compact printer that plugs into the monitor is available if an on-site report is required.
