NEWS BREAK: Are you aware items used in making meth can be bought just about anywhere? Did you know that where meth had been used can off-gas VOC's from the stains it had left?
Meth labs can be virturally anywhere. The use of meth inside can leave stains which will off-gas volatile organic compunds. This course will provide information on how to identify if a meth lab is present and how to perform a simple screen test to identify if meth had been present in an area.
This course has been designed for inspection purposes only and is not certified for decontamination even though it is gone over how to remediate a building.
Environmental Solutions Association (ESA) has researched the most accepted industry practices in an effort to develop inspection standards for a professional inspector to follow. ESA, one of the premier environmental training service companies in the United States, have formed a strategic business relationship with top laboratories, various national organizations and other training associations in an effort to develop industry standards, procedures and sampling protocols for methamphetamine and clandestine lab investigations.
This course will give the environmental professional the knowledge and ability to perform methamphetamine and clandestine lab investigations that meet or exceed the association standards required by ESA. ESA will continue to work together with the Laboratories to assure that the members of the association are provided with the latest and most up to date information concerning indoor air quality.
